Dr. Anthony Loh is a veteran educator with over four decades’ experience in teaching. He is a highly respected figure in the Singapore education sector and is widely known for his willingness to give “at-risk” students a second chance. Since his retirement from teaching in 2005, he has been an adjunct educator at National Institute of Education.

Chye Soon obtained an Engineering degree from National University of Singapore and a Masters in Education specializing in Curriculum and Teaching from the National Institute of Education (Singapore). He oversees the school and ensures that City College provides high quality education. He also teaches Elementary and Additional Mathematics, seeking to inculcate in students an active spirit for learning that abides even upon graduation.

David Edwards is a passionate, dedicated and experienced high school administrator with over 17 years’ experience spanning two continents. He is currently the Curriculum Coordinator (MYP / IGSE) for Overseas Family School.

Shiao Yin graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1999, and shortly after, founded School of Thought (SOT) in 2002 with two others. SOT is a socially responsible tuition programme that is now part of the Thought Collective. Food for Thought and Thinkscape are the other two companies in the Thought Collective.

Edwin Low graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters in Industrial Design. He has been nominated for various design awards, including the Tronedesign Creative Award (Germany) and Young Inventors Award (Asian Wall Street Journal). Edwin previously lectured at Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Design, and is currently running his own business.

Yeow Ling has 16 years’ experience in the education industry, having both taught and served as the vice-principal of Millenia Institute. He is currently the principal of North View Primary School, and also one of the founders of Educators’ Network, a community for like-minded teaching professionals. Yeow Ling has also published a book titled “Class Dismissed: Lessons Beyond The Classroom”. The book is a compilation of personal accounts from educators all seeking to make a difference in their respective fields.

Joli graduated from the National University of Singapore with Honours, majoring in Statistics and Masters of Science in (Mathematics) in the National Institute of Education. Her interest is in social work, where she volunteers regularly as a teacher to the intellectually disabled. She has co-written the mathematics textbook for Malaysia Form 1 (2003).
