1) Math Teacher (Full-Time)
At City College, we strongly believe that teachers are the most important part of any successful curriculum as we uphold high quality teaching and constantly seek to develop our abilities to become better teachers. The teacher will report directly to the Faculty Head. The role entails:

  • To plan, develop materials and teach the subject matter
  • To be responsible for assessment such as setting and marking of papers
  • To actively plan and strategize with faculty members to build synergy and achieve alignment

Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Math or related fields preferred, but other disciplines are welcome to apply.
  • Teaching experience in the field of Mathematics (Elementary / Additional) is preferred.
  • Experience with the IB syllabus is an advantage.
  • PC proficient, competent in MS Word & Excel
  • A team player with a positive attitude, self-motivated and who is able to work in a fast paced environment which requires multi-tasking.
  • Pleasant personality, willingness to learn & adaptability.

2) Student Affairs Officer 

The administration department plays a key role in student administration and academic support in City College. We believe it takes a certain profile to excel in this function – the individual should be service-oriented, but also meticulous and attentive to details. The role of the Student Affairs Office entails:

• Deliver student affairs support to students to ensure overall customers’ satisfaction
• Assist International students with Student Pass Application & Renewals
• Provide administration support to Academic Staff
• Maintenance of student databases
• Handle and follow-up on students’ enquiries
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Administration Manager

Essential Requirements:
• NITEC in Business Administration or a diploma in any discipline is required
• Competent in Microsoft Office Word & Excel
• English and Mandarin (To handle English- and Chinese- speaking customers)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• A team player with a positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Relevant work experience preferred
